Here are some pictures that I took, pictures of things that I like, and a couple pictures of my artwork:

Enjoy!

Intro to M.E.

Hello everyone, in case you couldn't tell from the huge title located right above this post, I am Marcy. I haven't done this blogging thing in a really long time, so please excuse me if this is a bit awkward (as I'm sure it already is at this point).
Originally, I come from Houston, TX, and when I say Houston I mean Houston-Houston, not Katy or Cypress or Sealy or Sugarland. Houston. I lived in the same house for the first 18 years of my life; my family has never moved. Interesting fact: I have also never been outside of this country, how sad is that?
I am in my senior year at the University of Texas studying Radio, Television, Film, and Business Foundations. However, my true passion lies in animation. I have always enjoyed watching animated films (I own every single Disney & Pixar film in my collection, and many Miyazaki films as well), and it is my dream to one day work for Pixar.
Right now, I am working for a production company called Diva Productions as their director of animation and assistant editor. I create a lot of claymation shorts for their television programs, and I also help with the editing of these programs. Diva Productions primarily produces a television show called The Kitchen Diva, which airs during KVUE Daybreak every Saturday at 8am.
In my free time, I enjoy camping and exploring places I have never been before. A few months ago, my boyfriend, Steve, and I hiked down into the Grand Canyon and camped out. It was one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. Here are some pics from the trip:

A picture I took while we were on the descent, I believe we were about 1.5 miles down at this point.
This picture was taken before we had done any hiking, haha, don't we look all well-rested and happy?
This is the Colorado River. It's at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. We had hiked 8 miles down the canyon at this point, and still had to hike 3 miles back up to get to our campsite that night.
I just thought the goat looked so pensive. Had to get a pic.
I believe that is all I have to say for now. I hope you have enjoyed hearing all about my oh-so-awesome life, and that you have a splendiferous day! Ttfn!
